BT Pipeskater Game

I built the BT Pipeskater Game in Flash whilst at Bostock and Pollitt. The aim of the game is to skateboard down the pipe collecting media and avoiding viruses on the way. More points are awarded for collecting media further up the sides of the pipe. As you progress you get faster and faster until you reach 512kb/s broadband.

According to Wikipedia, the BT Pipeskater game is an ‘Internet Phenomenon’ !!!

Apparently, on 13th September 2005, the game had enough people playing it to crash the whole BT website and its servers…
(I cannot confirm whether this is true or not though)
