Ben Huson

Ben Fogle and James Cracknell are leading the Pairs Class in the Atlantic Rowing Race 2005. They are currently in 4th position with only 3 four-man teams in front. They have recently had problems with their batteries which have not been retaining their charge which has made it hard to produce water from their electric watermaker.This has meant that they have had to break in to their first 5 litre container of reserve drinking water ballast, incurring a time penalty in accordance with the Event Rules which will be added to their official finishing time on arrival in Antigua.

They have now solved the electrical problems and their watermaker is now making an adequate supply of drinking water.
