		<description>This problem appears to be due to a touch of pedantry in how you disconnect. If you do not follow the drop down menu procedure

TomTom Home&gt;Device&gt;Disconnect device

- and then disconnect when you get the drop down window by pulling the USB cable, your TomTom will fail to disconnect and give the dreaded white cross.  Using all other methods (ie drop and drag, eject button or eject from devices menu) do not appear to work.

Not clear unless you are paranoid.

If you have followed other techniques you will have added duplicate files that you will then have to selectively delete!</description>
