Description

Gives you a few extra functionality for the archives widget including limiting the amount of archives to show and wether you want to display yearly, monthly, weekly or daily archive links.

Just add the Archivist widget to your sidebar and configure.

    PLEASE update this to allow EXCLUDE/INCLUDE categories!!!

    I have been banging my head against a brick wall to find a plugin that will just display a list of years that have posts of a specified category ie:

    2010
    2009
    2008

    James, I like the idea. I could fairly easily make that change to only show archives for certain categories in the list but it would be more tricky to make the archives link through to archive pages for specific categories – would have to look into that.
